BusBatumi Privacy Policy

This policy explains how BusBatumi handles information when you use the Android application.

Information we process

• Location. With your permission, the app uses your current location on your device to show it on the map and to plan routes. BusBatumi does not store your location history on its own server.
• Installation and technical data. We create a random installation identifier and secure token to operate the service, manage referral rewards, prevent duplicate claims, and deliver configuration. We also process app version, device performance tier, session events, and anonymous advertising impression and click events.
• Profile selection. The Tourist or Local profile is stored to select relevant advertising and local content.
• Search and map requests. Search terms and destinations are sent to Yandex MapKit to provide map search and routing. Recent searches are stored locally on your device.

Why we use this information

We use the information to provide live transport maps and route planning, maintain service security, show and measure advertising, operate the referral program, improve reliability, and respond to support requests.

Service providers

BusBatumi uses Yandex MapKit for maps, search, traffic, and routing; Cloudflare Workers, D1, and R2 for backend configuration, analytics, referral data, and advertising files; and Google Play for distribution and updates. A creative may link you to an advertiser's website only after you tap it.

Retention and security

Raw session analytics are retained for up to 400 days. Installation and referral records are retained while needed to operate the service and prevent fraud, or until a valid deletion request is processed. Data is transmitted using HTTPS and access to backend administration is restricted.

Your choices

You can deny or revoke location permission in Android settings. Without location access, route planning from your position is unavailable, but the Routes demonstration remains available. You can change your Tourist or Local profile in Tools.

Your rights and contact

To request access, correction, or deletion of data associated with your installation, follow the data deletion instructions. We may ask for details needed to identify the installation securely.

Changes

We may update this policy when the app or applicable requirements change. The current version is always available at this address.
